What problems can this JSON repair tool fix?
The tool can remove Markdown code fences, strip a UTF-8 BOM, remove JavaScript-style comments, remove trailing commas, quote simple unquoted object keys and convert Python-style True, False and None values when they appear outside strings.
Why AI-generated JSON sometimes breaks
AI assistants may wrap JSON in Markdown, add explanatory comments, leave a trailing comma, mix JavaScript or Python syntax into JSON, or truncate a long response. Some problems are safe to repair automatically; others require human review because guessing missing content could change the meaning of the data.
Format or minify valid JSON
If your JSON is already valid, use Format to pretty-print it with readable indentation or Minify to remove unnecessary whitespace.
Is my JSON uploaded to WPToolix?
No. Validation, formatting and repair happen locally in your browser. The JSON is not sent to WPToolix for processing.
Frequently asked questions
Can this repair every broken JSON response?
No. If content is missing, truncated or structurally ambiguous, automatic repair could invent the wrong meaning. The tool only applies common, predictable fixes.
Can I use it with JSON from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. It is designed for JSON copied from AI assistants as well as JSON from APIs, configuration files and developer tools.
Does the tool change values inside strings?
The repair routines are designed to avoid comment and keyword replacements inside quoted JSON strings.
Can I use the result in WordPress or Elementor?
Yes, as long as the destination expects standard JSON. For Elementor-specific structure checks, use the Elementor JSON Validator.
